Escalon Chamber of Commerce

After another highly successful 2008 Park Fete, plans get under way for the 2009 version.  The Lions bring this event to life each year.  Watch for the date and plan to take part in some or all of the events.

Tentatively scheduled for October 23, 2008 is the Third Annual Harvest Wine and Food Experience.  Each year, chairperson Annie Gallager creates new activities for this popular event.  Join us for an evening under the stars and twinkling trees strolling Main Street between First and Second Streets.  There will be great wine to savor, food to tempt your taste buds and several activities which will help the Chamber in this fund raising activity.

Christmas on Main is a wonderful Community event encompassing the holiday experience of small town living. Kids enjoy hay rides, the Parade of Lights, roasting marshmallows over campfires, and visiting Santa Claus. The Chamber of Commerce is assisted by other local organizations like Escalon Lions, Kiwanis Club, and Key Club to present the festivities. Look for information about this event later this year.

The Escalon Chamber of Commerce and the City of Escalon present the Second Annual Senior Day on May 8th from 9 - 2. Seniors will be given information on county and city services, health care, insurance, banking needs, nutrition and more. This year the event will be held at Hogan Park with a theme of Spring Has Sprung.  $6.00 meals will be available through the senior programs.  More information to come.
